What this warranty covers

Performance Seats warrants that your automotive or light-truck seating product is free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time it is put into service. This warranty runs for two (2) years from the date your product is first installed, or until the date of your purchase, whichever comes first.

A product is considered defective if it fails to meet our published product specifications due to a flaw in materials or workmanship, and that flaw meaningfully affects the product's value under normal use, care, and maintenance.

What's not covered
  • Modifications or alterations to the product
  • Failure to follow our care and maintenance guidelines
  • Accidents, unauthorized repairs, or misuse
  • Use of non-Performance Seats attachments or replacement parts
  • Exposure to corrosive materials, extreme weather, heat, fire, humidity, or sunlight
  • Normal wear and tear, including fading or discoloration
  • Improper installation
  • Overloading or excessive passenger weight
  • Removal from the original vehicle and reinstallation elsewhere
  • Neglect or abuse
  • Routine maintenance items
How to make a warranty claim

Inspect immediately upon receipt
Upon receipt of your product, please inspect it carefully. If you discover a potential defect, contact us immediately at sales@kineticseats.com. Warranty claims must be submitted immediately upon discovery.

Submit your proof of purchase and photos
Include your original receipt, purchase date, date the defect appeared, beginning mileage at time of installation, and clear photos of the defect. The more detail you can provide, the faster we can help.

We handle the rest
Our team will review your claim and follow up with next steps. You do not need to ship anything until we've reviewed your submission and confirmed it qualifies for warranty service.

We make it right
If we find a covered defect, we will repair or replace your product at our cost. If no defect is found, we will let you know and return your product.
Purchased through a dealer?
If you purchased your seat through an authorized dealer or installer, please contact them directly to initiate your claim. They will submit on your behalf at our expense. Claims must be submitted immediately upon discovery of any defect within the 2-year warranty period.
Your remedies

If your product is found to have a covered defect and you've followed the steps above, Performance Seats will repair or replace the defective product at our expense. If we are unable to repair or replace within a reasonable timeframe, we will refund the original purchase price.

These are your sole and exclusive remedies under this warranty. Failure to follow the warranty claim process described above will result in the loss of warranty coverage.

Legal disclaimers

This limited warranty is the only express warranty provided by Performance Seats. All other warranties — express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose — are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any implied warranties that cannot be disclaimed are limited in duration to the two-year warranty period above.

Performance Seats and its affiliates are not liable for any consequential, incidental, special, indirect, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: personal injury, property damage, lost profits, towing and travel costs, loss of use, or economic injury. Performance Seats is not liable in tort for negligent design, manufacture, or failure to warn.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
